HQ: RANCHO CORDOVA, CA · 3 COVERAGE TIERS
Service Area: 600 Miles of Field Coverage from Sacramento
Three tiers, published honestly, because a contractor who claims to cover everywhere covers nowhere well.
Field work reaches 600 miles. EPC and maintenance programs reach 300. Engineering, fabrication, and shipping have no radius at all.

Each number reflects what we can actually keep promising
600 miles: field work. An installation is a defined window with a crew, a truck, and rigging gear on site. That is a logistics problem with a known answer, and 600 miles from Rancho Cordova is the distance at which we can mobilize our own personnel and our own rigging without the travel overhead making us the wrong choice.
300 miles: EPC and maintenance. Both of these are commitments over time rather than a single mobilization. EPC means months of project management, vendor coordination, inspections, and the ability to be at your plant tomorrow because something changed. A maintenance subscription means showing up on a schedule, repeatedly, for years. Promising either at 550 miles would be a sales answer, not an operational one.
Nationwide: engineering and fabrication. Design work travels over a wire, and steel travels on a truck. We regularly design and build equipment and structures that ship to plants we never visit.

What the 600-mile ring reaches
Approximate. Drive time matters more than straight-line distance, and both get confirmed at the site walk.

If you are near a boundary, call. We will tell you honestly whether the mobilization makes sense for your scope rather than quoting a job we should not be driving to. Note that Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Seattle all sit outside the 600-mile ring by road and are not field-service territory.
Coverage detail by metro
Mobilization is a scope item, not a courtesy
On any field project outside the immediate metro, the quote includes travel, per diem, and the logistics of getting crews, tools, and rigging gear to your site and keeping them productive once there.
That is not a hidden cost, it is a stated one, and it is why distance affects the number. It is also why prefabrication matters more the farther away you are: every hour of work that happens in Rancho Cordova instead of at your plant is an hour that costs less and disrupts less.
For distant projects we will tell you plainly whether the scope justifies the mobilization. Sometimes the answer is that a local shop should do the install and we should design and ship the steel. That is a real option and we will say so.

Common questions
How far will you travel for a project?
Installation, field services, and rigging reach 600 miles from Sacramento, which covers essentially all of California and reaches across the West, with licensing verified per state before we mobilize. EPC projects and subscription maintenance programs reach 300 miles. Engineering, design, fabrication, and shipping are nationwide with no radius.
Why can you install at 600 miles but not run a maintenance program there?
Because they are different commitments. An install is a single mobilization with a defined window. A maintenance subscription means being at your facility on a schedule, repeatedly, for years, and an EPC project means months of active project management with the ability to respond quickly when something changes. We hold those two services at 300 miles because that is the distance at which we can actually keep the commitment.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel, per diem, and mobilization are included as stated line items in a quote for field work outside the immediate metro. They are not hidden and they are not a surprise at invoice. Distance affects the number, which is exactly why prefabricating as much as possible in the shop matters more the farther away a project is.
Can you work outside California?
Design, engineering, fabrication, and shipping are nationwide and do not implicate a contractor licence anywhere. Field work is different. The 600-mile radius reaches across the West, with licensing verified per state before we mobilize, because every state we would mobilize into has its own requirement: Nevada licences under NRS Chapter 624, Oregon requires a Construction Contractors Board licence with no California reciprocity and ORS 701.021 covers soliciting as well as performing work, and Idaho requires registration. We confirm the licensing position before we quote field work outside California, not after.
We are just outside your radius. Is it worth calling?
Yes, particularly for larger scopes where mobilization amortizes across a longer project. It is also worth calling to discuss the split option: we design and fabricate, and a local contractor handles erection or installation. That arrangement works well and we do it regularly.
Where is your shop?
2530 Mercantile Dr, Ste H, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742, in the Sacramento metro. Fabrication happens there and all coverage radii are measured from Sacramento.
